The Office of Special Scholarships (OSS) houses Georgia Tech's flagship merit Stamps President's Scholars Program (top 1%), the largest Stamps Scholars Program (https://www.stampsscholars.org/) nationwide. OSS focuses on the pillars of scholarship, leadership, progress and service and also houses the Gold Scholars Program (top 2%). As director, Chaffee focuses on the office's strategic vision and oversees recruitment and development of scholars.

Chaffee has worked at NC State, Duke, UNC, and now Georgia Tech with prestigious merit scholarship programs for more than two decades. He likes dark roast coffee.
