Scholar Summit

Date: November 15-17, 2019

Registration will open mid-September.

General Goals of the Scholar Summit for participants:

• A renewed appreciation of the opportunities provided by their home programs;
• Ideas to enhance the offerings of their home programs and broader campuses;
• Strategies to manage the challenges that accompany the life, academic, personal, and professional goals that come with being a scholar.

Scholars will play a major role in planning, coordinating, and implementing Scholar Summit.  Dana Shefet and Josh Gurganus from East Carolina University’s EC Scholars Program will serve as our conference Co-Chairs.  Scholars from UNC-Charlotte, UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State University, Georgia Tech, and UT-San Antonio will also serve on the planning committee.  We are thrilled to host a scholar-led initiative where our students can put their leadership into action.

Each program may send up to two scholars, with the possibility of a third if space permits.
